welcome to nyamasiizi green valley medical center
Nyamasiizi green valley medical center is located in Rubanda district, Kabale diocese, Uganda (East Africa). It was begun by the late Rev. Fr. Lazarus Kabasharira in 1981 as a non-for-profit health care unit to help the vulnerable population in his/our village who at that time were required to travel and walk long distances for the treatment of simple illnesses which could be treated locally even by a well trained nurse.

WHAT WE DO
ADMISSION
Our health centre is here to serve the people of our village and surrounding areas with quality and compassionate care. Whether you are feeling unwell, need regular treatment, or have been referred by a doctor, we are here to help you get the care you need.
OUT PATIENT
At Green Valley, we offer a range of outpatient services to care for patients who do not need to be admitted. Our goal is to provide easy access to quality health care for all members of our community right here in the village.
Maternity
We accompany mothers through pregnancy and delivery with care and compassion. Though our team is skilled and dedicated, we continue to seek support to improve our delivery environment and essential maternity supplies.
Health Education
We are committed to building healthier communities through health education. Our team offers talks and counseling on hygiene, disease prevention, nutrition, and lifestyle using the resources available to us. With more support, we hope to expand our reach and materials.
Laboratory Services
We offer basic diagnostic testing to support patient care. While we strive to deliver accurate results, there’s still need for improved equipment and supplies to serve our clients more efficiently.
IMMUNIZATION
We support child and maternal health through routine immunizations. Despite limited resources, we continue to provide this essential service and hope to strengthen it with more outreach and cold-chain support.
“Together, we can be the reason someone smiles again.”
“Your kindness today changes lives tomorrow.”

OUR INSPIRATION
The Rich Man and Lazarus (Luke 16:19-31)
19 “There was a rich man who was dressed in purple and fine linen and lived in luxury every day. 20 At his gate was laid a beggar named Lazarus, covered with sores 21 and longing to eat what fell from the rich man’s table. Even the dogs came and licked his sores. 22 “The time came when the beggar died and the angels carried him to Abraham’s side. The rich man also died and was buried. 23 In Hades, where he was in torment, he looked up and saw Abraham far away, with Lazarus by his side. 24 So he called to him, ‘Father Abraham, have pity on me and send Lazarus to dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue, because I am in agony in this fire.’
